Riico is a popular agency of Rajasthan. Which play an important role in industrial development in the Government of Rajasthan. It was established in 1949. It was established in 1996, but after the separate establishment of Rajasthan State Mineral Development Corporation (RSMDC) in November 1979, RIICO's work was restricted to the area of ​​industrial development.

INDUSTRIAL LAND ADVANTAGE

Rajasthan is the largest state of India with over 10% of the country’s total land. Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Ltd (RIICO) has developed 348 industrial areas across the state for setting up of industrial units. These well-developed industrial areas have all basic infrastructural facilities like power, street lights, water supply and roads. RIICO has also developed various sector specific industrial parks / Zones.

RIICO has promoted Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund (RVCF) for supporting start up and early stage companies across sectors. It acts as a catalyst for supporting entrepreneurship primarily in the state of Rajasthan.

RIICO has promoted an incubation center - StartUp Oasis - in

association with CIIE, Ahmedabad.

International Exhibitions

RIICO Organises International Exhibitions to promote trade and industry.

India StoneMart -

 A biannual international stone industry exhibition is being organized by CDOS with support of RIICO since 2000. It is one of the biggest stone industry exhibitions in the world. 11th edition of the event will be organized in February 2021.

Vastra -

 An international textile & apparel fair has been organized annually by RIICO

and six editions have been held so far. The seventh edition will be organized in September 2020.
